The General Hospital (GH) scoop for the week of September 20 hints Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will return to Port Charles.
Also coming up, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will go into panic mode and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will confront Peter August (Wes Ramsay). Plus, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will be on the hot seat. And Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) marriage started with a bang, but the fireworks have only just begun.
GH spoilers tease Anna and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) will put Nina on blast. They’ll be angry she hid the fact that Sonny was alive from his family. But they’ll be even more furious that she tried, and failed, to handle Peter by herself.

Over with Maxie, who will find out from Nina that Peter could be coming for her. She’ll be horrified that the sacrifice she made for her daughter could end up being all for naught. If Peter realizes Bailey is actually Louise, his daughter, the consequences could be deadly.

However, Anna will locate Peter and the two will have a fierce showdown. But who will come out on top? Valentin will eventually catch up with the pair and he and Anna will need to decide if they should put an end to Peter for good.
Other GH spoilers tease Liz Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) and Hamilton Finn (Wes Ramsay) will have a heart to heart. Plus, Ava Jerome (Maura West) gets ready to leave Port Charles and Olivia Falconeri (Lisa LoCicero) will be angry with Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth).

Meanwhile, Sonny’s not going to be in the hospital for long. “The doctors’ say you can’t leave here,” Nina tells him in the GH sneak peek. “Try and stop me!” Sonny will shout in reply. He’s finally recovered all his memories and he’ll be desperate to get back home to his wife. Of course, he’ll have no idea she just married his right hand man. But he’s about to find out.
Viewers can rest easy that Carly and Jason will survive the car bomb blast. In fact, rumor has it Jarly will eventually show up at their wedding reception. But once they’re back at home, instead of starting their honeymoon, they’ll both be stunned when Carly’s dead husband walks in the front door.
